Melodie has been performing since she was a bump and teaching since….well, a long time ago.
As cofounder of Upstage, formed in 2003, Melodie and her co-director set up Sheffield’s first fully dedicated, all inclusive children’s Theatre club. The aim,
- to give children of all abilities and backgtounds the chance to have a go.
- produce children’s theatre, for children, by children.
That ethos continued when her co-founder decided it was time to retire and Upstage transitioned to Theatrestarz in 2017.
This review just re-inforces how Theatrestarz lives by its goals.
